Peeling Garlic

Peeling garlic can be a bit of a hassle, particularly if you want to do a lot of garlic at the same time. The Thermomix can make this an easy task.

Simply separate the garlic and place in the bowl. Knock the garlic about on reverse, speed 4 for about 5 seconds. Remove the lid and simply pick out the garlic skin.

Another kitchen tip, is that if your hands smell after contact with onion or garlic, just rub your hands on your stainless steel stink. The steel with react with the sulphur and reduce the smell.
